Mariela Dabbah |

Mariela Dabbah is the author of Cómo Conseguir Trabajo en los Estados Unidos (How to Get a Job in the U.S.), Ayude a sus Hijos a Tener Éxito en la Escuela (Help your Children Succeed in School, Special Guide for Latino Parents), and The Latino Advantage in the Workplace, co-authored with Arturo Poiré, all published by Sphinx Publishing, an imprint of Sourcebooks Inc. She has been featured on “All Things Considered” (NPR), “Exclusiva” (ABC News), “Despierta América” (Univision), Cada día con María Antonieta (Telemundo), “Directo desde Estados Unidos” (CNN en Español), "Negocios Bloomberg" (Bloomberg Radio), “Tu Dinero con Julie Stav” (Univision Radio) and many other TV programs, radio shows and newspaper articles. Mariela received her MFA from the University of Buenos Aires in her native Argentina. She was the owner of Flame, an educational book distributor, where she developed training programs as well as manuals for teachers and parents. In 2000 she opened Consultare, a consulting firm that develops educational programs for corporations and organizations. A natural and powerful networker, she has a unique ability to entertain, educate and involve simultaneously. With boundless energy and a message that invigorates as it enlightens, Mariela helps people walk away from her workshops with a better understanding of how to crack the American code in order to succeed in the US. Mariela is a dynamo that inspires people. Using specific hands-on strategies and real life examples, she helps them become assimilated without loosing their cultural identity. She is a contributor for Hora Hispana by the Daily News and along with Arturo Poiré (her co-author for upcoming book The Latino Advantage, Sourcebooks 2006) writes a monthly column for Tú Dinero magazine. Mariela writes and presents in both Spanish and in English. |
